Finish options
Natural Sanded Wood
This option comes in its natural state and is sanded to a very smooth finish. This is ideal if you intend to stain or paint the table, to match your interior or exterior setting. The table can also be left in its natural sanded state, but it is advisable to coat with a suitable sealant, to protect it from stains and scratches.
Indoor and Outdoor Coating
This option comes with a child safe sealant that protects it from stains, scratches and weather effects, allowing it to be used and stored both indoors and outdoors. It also provides a superior finish that improves the look and quality of the table. To extend the longevity of the table, we recommend using a rain cover when not in use.
Care Instructions
- Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
- Use a rain cover for protection outdoors.
- Tighten screws every 6 months.
- Apply a wood treatment on an annual basis for outdoor tables.

CayleyAbsolutely love our table. He's 8 months and a confident cruiser, and he can happily reach into the tray to play. It's light enough to move around too! Popped it in the kitchen yesterday and got my entire dinner cooked while he splashed! Communication was amazing. I wanted the wooden lids so we could go half and half, full sensory or full table. They weren't advertised but were coming soon. I had a photo as soon as they were available. 😃 I can not recommend this enough. Worth every penny and more. He's going to get years of learning from this. It comes unvarnished, but I think you can opt for a finish? We plan to use a varnish as I don't know how it will do with food colouring, and I want it to match the wood in my lounge. But hoenstly, if you're thinking of buying this, buy it!
Angela KWe love our picnic bench/ sand table! The quality of wood is outstanding! It is well treated and top quality product! It looks so stunning in our garden! It took us only 10 min to put together and instructions are idiot proofed honestly! Customer Service was also amazing! We were getting all updated on our order and even were lucky to get promotion of having Personalization made for free! But the best thing of all my 2 year old son is obsessed with it! We had it for two days now and we already done water play, dinosaur search in the sand, play with sensory rice and all! And we also had breakfast there! It is so versitale! AliceLovely activity table! Perfect height too! Recommend the extra shelf at the bottom to store bits and pieces! Love the added personalisation , give it that extra touch. EmmaThis sensory table is beautifully crafted. I don’t think the photos do it justice. I love the personalisation, it’s carved into the wood and not a decal and the quality of the craftsmanship really shows. When the item arrived it had been accidentally damaged by the courier service during transit. I contacted Oli with a photo, and he immediately set about working on a replacement and kept me posted every step of the way. Oli drove the miles between us to personally hand deliver the replacement, it is perfect and he got to us in time for Christmas (with just a 3 days turnaround at peak)!
